Easy to install and use
Just installed this on my vintage 1946 Unisaw. The increased noise level described by some other reviewers was not a problem. In fact, the reduction in the size of the kerf slot actually seemed to reduce noise on my saw, compared to the old chewed up OEM insert with a half inch wide slot.

Height and length adjustments are easy and firm.

They maintain exceptional flatness, unlike wood or plastic inserts, and cut easily with carbide blades. The melamine surface provides nearly frictionless sliding and is highly impact and abrasion resistant. Each insert has top accessible leveling screws, side and end adjustment screws to facilitate perfect fit and a rear safety pin provides lift out protection. A precut starter pocket makes cutting the clearance slot easily and a finger hole makes for simple removal and hanging. Colors may vary. Made in USA.
